Why?
Why another install HOW TO? Two reasons:
A. Every time I get a new server this has to be done, and so I might as well install the latest versions. In the past 5 to 6 years, I have performed this install group probably 6 times. Doing this just once a year, does not allow me option to do this from memory. Which leads to the second reason.
B. It is quite time consuming to find all of these instructions in just one or two locations. Yes, they are out there. However, not for my setup configuration or not for the product versions I want to use. Also, most of the HOWTO's are pretty incomplete...even the good ones. Now that being said, I'm sure I have just jinxed myself to missing some important steps :-)
